Just sharing something that I believe that god wanted me to see to get a revelation and better understanding of Passover, and Resurrection Sunday!
Definition of Worship: To regard with extravagant respect, honor, and devotion. Ture worship, devotion, honor) God took me to Hebrews 9 Chapter.
That first covenant between God and Israel had regulations for worship and a place of worship here on earth. 2 There were two rooms in that Tabernacle.[a] In the first room were a lampstand, a table, and sacred loaves of bread on the table. This room was called the Holy Place. 3 Then there was a curtain, and behind the curtain was the second room[b] called the Most Holy Place. 4 In that room were a gold incense altar and a wooden chest called the Ark of the Covenant, which was covered with gold on all sides. Inside the Ark were a gold jar containing manna, Aaron’s staff that sprouted leaves, and the stone tablets of the covenant. 5 Above the Ark were the cherubim of divine glory, whose wings stretched out over the Ark’s cover, the place of atonement. But we cannot explain these things in detail now.
6 When these things were all in place, the priests regularly entered the first room[c] as they performed their religious duties. 7 But only the high priest ever entered the Most Holy Place, and only once a year. And he always offered blood for his own sins and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance. 8 By these regulations the Holy Spirit revealed that the entrance to the Most Holy Place was not freely open as long as the Tabernacle[d] and the system it represented were still in use.bold
What God showed me in these verses was that there was a time that only a priest could go a sacrifice blood for the remissions of sins the people at that time did not have the holyspirit they had to have someone go before them
9 This is an illustration pointing to the present time. For the gifts and sacrifices that the priests offer are not able to cleanse the consciences of the people who bring them. 10 For that old system deals only with food and drink and various cleansing ceremonies—physical regulations that were in effect only until a better system could be established. bold
Then what God showed me from this passage was that even though the priest sacrifice blood for the peoples sin it could not cleanse their conscience of the sins that they had committed
So far all of this that we have just previously talked about God showed me that before the people could not truly WORSHIP him, hear, from him, because they did not have his holy spirit because Christ had not come yet, it was like a block that blocked the people from having a true relationship with God.
lets move on to verses 11
11 So Christ has now become the High Priest over all the good things that have come.[e] He has entered that greater, more perfect Tabernacle in heaven, which was not made by human hands and is not part of this created world. 12 With his own blood—not the blood of goats and calves—he entered the Most Holy Place once for all time and secured our redemption forever. bold
So we see here that Jesus Christ came as that one true and only sacrifice not of some animal but pure and for redemption of us all
13 Under the old system, the blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a young cow could cleanse people’s bodies from ceremonial impurity. 14 Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deedsbold
finally we see here that when Jesus Christ came and died he not only cleansed us from our sins but did what the priest sacrifices could not cleanse our conscience of sin as well meaning the shame and guilt because when God we know that we are forgiven and we have gods mercy and favor
it was christ sacrificing himself that we now have his HOLY SPIRIT who speaks to us leads us, guides us directs us and make it possible to have a RELATIONSHIP with GOd and TRULY WORSHIP HIM because with his spirit also we can worship him in spirit and in truth. JOhn 4:23 Before Jeus came we COULD NOT do we did have this Worship is Key
Isaiah 29:13,14 Worship from a pure heart Worship yes is living before God in sincere adoration and it is most importantly being obeident to him as well. the bible says that if we are not engaging in true worship (parahrase) teh result
is decreased wisdom and understandingbold
We got to get the revelation
There is so much more I would like to share but I will end with this: We say that we know God, love him, serve him let us then show it by worshipping him worship to regard with EXTRAVAGANT repect, honor, and devotion thats what God deserves god came so that we can have REAl Life so let us give him real worship we serve a REAL GOD…..
So lets go 2 work:) God Bless and enjoy Resurrection Sunday Love Ya:)
